About Hurricane Candles
Our Hurricane Candles are wax shells made with additives to strengthen the shell. The Hurricane shells are made with a bottom in each shell. Each Hurricane candle is supplied with a glass tealight with 1 tealight. Candles should be burned 2 to 3 hours at a time. Once tealight candle is used, replace it. Hurricane is ready to use again. Avoid exposure to high heat and sunlight for extended periods of time. The shell will last Forever.
Designing Your Candle
To design your own candle first of all you need to choose the shape of the candle and colour. Then choose an clip art image or add your own picture or image. Then type in your message. Usually the art image is printed on one side and the message is written on the other side. However, you don’t have to have an image and/or text. Some people like to have a verse or poem decorated on with a short message on the back or have an art design with no message on the candle. If this is what you require then email us your request. We do have an artist which produces custom made artwork so whatever you require we can design.
All Hurricane candles are Customized and Personalized per your request. Text can vary in script style and color, choice is yours. It is your responsibility to read all text to verify the correctness of spelling. Customized & Personalized candles cannot be accepted for refund. There is no extra charge for number of characters or lines of text.
Sending Your Own Images
If you would like to include a photo, the photo must be in digital format (jpg - jpeg image) and sent in email or if prefer can be sent in post and will be returned to you in its original condition when we ship your candle. The quality of the image on candle is dependent upon the quality of the picture received. To avoid blurring images should be 300dpi (resolution). The image area on the candle will be a maximum of 10cmx10cm (4"x4") so please send an image which is adequately sized. Also, bear in mind when ordering coloured candles that illumination and quality isn't as great as with a white candle.
We have many other features that can be incorporated into the design of your candle and can meet most request for special candles usually at no extra charge. Special artwork can be produced to meet your requirements. So just email us with your requirements and we can design a candle specific to your needs.

Candle Delivery
Candles usually are dispatched as soon as they are ready and an email will be sent out to inform you of arrival. However we do ask for at least three weeks. If you have a special occasion that is less than 3 weeks away then contact us and we will try to accommodate.
Product Colour Representation
Candle Delight cannot be held responsible for any misrepresentation of product colour due to variations in the quality and specifications of the various colour monitors used to view our website.

An email receipt of your order will be sent to the email address you supply.
It is your responsibility to check that the order is correct, that all text is spelt correctly
and that colour choice, candle shape and image are as you require. If there are any amendments or changes to be made to your order
you must notify us within 5 days of placing the order.

and email address for two reasons.

2. To dispatch your order.
